Training and workshops¶
We require every new Hydra user to watch the introduction video before using the cluster. Beyond that, we run an introductory workshop each quarter and advanced workshops now and then, and their materials stay online.
Introduction to Hydra (required)¶
Watch the Introduction to Hydra video. It gives an overview of the cluster, the basics of getting started, and the usage policies you agree to by using Hydra.
The video is on SI's Microsoft Stream
It opens only from the SI staff network, the SI-STAFF or CfA VPN, or telework.si.edu.
The slides and hands-on material from the introduction are in the Hydra-introduction repository, so you can follow the exercises at your own pace after the video.
Workshops¶
The introductory workshop runs every quarter, and we announce it on the HPCC-L mailing list. Advanced workshops run less regularly. Their slides, exercises and recordings are in the advanced-hydra-workshops repository:
